Placeholder notice: Legal entity (controller) name and privacy contact email are to be completed. This page describes what we intend to process as the product moves from a public static board to accounts and crypto checkout.
1. Who we are
Site: williamdatahub.com (William Data Insights / WDI).
Controller: TBD. Privacy contact: TBD.
2. What we collect today (static site)
- Standard web logs via hosting/CDN (Cloudflare): IP, user agent, request URLs, timestamps.
- Browser local storage for auth tokens (JWT) when you sign in; local demo tier only on operator localhost hosts.
- Optional privacy-friendly analytics if enabled later (to be disclosed here before activation).
3. What we will collect when accounts / payments ship
- Account email and password hash (or equivalent credentials).
- Subscription tier, expiry, and payment references from NOWPayments (crypto processor).
- Transactional emails (verification, expiry reminders).
Payment rail: NOWPayments. Blockchain network fees and wallet addresses are handled by the payment provider / chain; we store order identifiers needed for entitlements.
4. Why we process data
- Serve and secure the website (CDN, DDoS, TLS).
- Provide research content and (later) enforce Free / Pro / Elite access.
- Process prepaid crypto payments and send operational emails.
- Comply with law and prevent abuse.
5. Cookies and similar tech
Essential cookies / local storage may be used for signed-in session tokens. We do not currently run advertising trackers. If analytics cookies are added, this section will be updated and consent obtained where required.
6. Processors and hosting
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, Pages hosting, security.
- NOWPayments — crypto payment processing (when checkout is live).
- Future: email delivery provider and API host (Fly / VPS) for accounts.
Data may be processed in regions where these providers operate.
7. Retention
CDN logs: per provider defaults / short operational windows. Account and payment records (when live): retained as needed for service and legal/accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing. Contact will be published when the controller email is set (currently TBD).
9. Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
Updates will revise the “Last updated— date on this page.
